Fishbowl is the Inventory Application we use to keep account of all the products we carry. Fishbowl will be able to tell you: How many we have, where they are located, if they are new , display or open box models and will tell you how many are available for sale.

You can have set favorites and update your dashboard to make it easier to find what you are looking for. The main Reports we use are On Hand by Product Tree, Part Activity Report and Receiving History. On the dashboard you can add reports for vendor specific purchase orders.

It is the brand managers responsibility to check daily for new incoming products and new open box items. Open Box processes can be found on Brand Manager Processes – Open Box.

New Incoming Products

To find what new items have been delivered to the store follow these steps:
Under Reporting tab select Reports

Receiving
Receiving History
Modify Report go to second tab named Optional and update the date received.

You can also select a vendor however it is best to view all incoming so nothing is missed.

Select OK and the report will pop up for you. In this report look for the Vendor name and a list of skus will be listed.

Write down which skus have been received then go into Materials, Product search brand name in Product Description and write down how many we have of those new incoming products. Verify it has been updated Online and updated any 3rd party inventory as well.

Make sure that you remove any ETA notes on Gibbys when product has been delivered and we have inventory for that product now.

Looking up Inventory Quantity

When looking up the Inventory you can do it multiple ways the 2 main ways are either looking under:
Material – Product – Production Description: Search Brand Name
Material – Inventory – Description: Search Brand Name

Product – Will show you a list of items once you click on it, it will show you On Hand and Available. Always go by the Available amount. You can view on the right hand side more details on that product like MSRP, Product Description, URL, and UPC.

Inventory – Will show you a list of items and next to it will show the On Hand quantity to find the Available quantity and more information such as location click on the item.
