Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Planning and Budgeting:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive marketing plans for Google Shopping, SEM, Google and Meta Display Ads, and Social campaigns.
  • Monitor and adjust budgets based on campaign performance, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Strategic Marketing:

  • Propose innovative marketing strategies to boost conversion rates and enhance online visibility.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to position our electronics prominently in search results.

Content Development, Scheduling and Management:

  • Plan for marketing content. Create marketing copies and artworks with the team. Utilize the Marketing Calendar to schedule and coordinate social media content, emails, paid ads, and other marketing efforts.
  • Update and maintain the Monthly Promo Marketing Sheet with brand managers to ensure timely promotion of products.

Social Media Content Creation and Account Management

  • Plan and create social media content with the help of the team. Grow our social media followers
  • Manage our social media accounts and monitor feedback. Engage customers to create a loyal customer base
  • Respond to followers’ inquiries and forward questions to relevant departments

YouTube channel management

  • Provide directions and work with our videographers to create content for our YouTube channel
  • Maximize reach and engagement through effective tagging and SEO

Google My Business

  • Manage Gibbys’ listing on Google My Business. Update content regularly and ensure store hours are correct before every holiday
  • Monitor reviews and comments and reply professionally in a timely manner

Digital Marketing and Analytics:

  • Track and analyze digital marketing campaigns’ ROAS on Google Analytics, Google Ads, Shopify, Email, and META platforms.
  • Adjust Google Ads daily budgets based on CTR rates and impressions to optimize ad spend.

Team Collaboration and Direction:

  • Collaborate with designers, videographers and other teams to create compelling ad creatives and campaigns.
  • Direct the creation and adjustment of targeting and artworks for META campaigns.

Preparing Media Buy Proposals for Brands

  • Identify potential collaboration opportunities with brands. Prepare rate cards and proposals for brands to sell our ad spaces on our website, social media and other promotional materials
  • Planning and overseeing the execution and delivery of these brand-sponsored ads

SEO and Website Management:

  • Optimize on-page SEO, fix keyphrases, and resolve errors identified in SEMRush audits.
  • Assist in back-link building
  • Ensure proper tagging of customers in Shopify for effective email segmentation and retargeting.

Print and Traditional Media:

  • Oversee print ads, Canada Post coupons and flyers, billboards, website banners, and in-store signage.
  • Coordinate the distribution of Canada Post postcards and track their effectiveness.

Third-Party Promotions:

  • Manage promotional submissions to third-party platforms such as Best Buy, Walmart, and Newegg.
  • Ensure all promotions meet the required criteria and are submitted on time.

Email Marketing:

  • Schedule and review email marketing content to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Refresh automated emails with coupons when settings or conditions change.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on ad spend, sales, and campaign performance.
  • Adjust marketing strategies based on data insights and present findings to stakeholders.

Brand Maintenance:

  • Maintain a cohesive brand image across all marketing efforts and touchpoints.
  • Update brand and collection page copies as needed for consistency and SEO.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning and executing promotions.
  • Send invoices to the accounting team and keep records updated.
  • Build backlinks and enhance the website’s SEO presence through extensive research and strategy implementation.
