Training: Landing Pages and Brand Page
In this training module we will teach you had to create a landing page, how to link a landing page, how to create a brand and add that brand logo and link to the brand page.
Landing Page
First go to the dashboard on WordPress. Under Pages select Add New. Add your Brand Name as Title of the landing page. Save draft and edit with Elementor.
Next you will start creating your landing page. First we need a banner usually a lifestyle image either from the manufacturer or see what pictures Gibbys has from our in house photographer.
Select Image and drag and drop the image box onto drag widget here section.
Once the image banner is ready for an image. Get the image you want to us as the banner and make sure it is 1920 x 450 pixels. You can adjust the image in Photoshop.
Next you need a logo which will also be an image so add another image widget below your lifestyle image.
Add a Text Editor widget under logo this will be a brief description of the brand.
Add Button color should be #FCCC09 ( Gibbys Yellow). In the button edit Type: Default, Text: Shop All “insert brand name” Link: Go to gibbys search brand copy url if you believe it is the best url to use. (only that brand products show up)
Your page should look similar to this.
Below the Shop All ” ” button will be determined by the brand every brand is different and we want to highlight what are the main things they offer. example for TV’s-
You would have 6-8 different photos with a Gibbys yellow circle behind the photo.
Under each photo you will have a sub category title (QLED TV’s, OLED TV’s, QNED TV’s, Soundbar, Projectors + Accessories) Each photo will be linked to the url only showing those items from that brand.
Brand Page
When we get a new brand there are 2 places you must put the brand logo.
1. On the product page and that is done by going into the dashboard under products select brands. Add the brand name and add a logo 150 x 74 pixels
2. Brand Page: The link for this can be found on the footer of our website when you select brands. Each brand that we carry will be listed here with a link to its brand landing page or product page depending on the brand. The brand logo should be 250 x 120 pixels.
Select the area your new brand should be, add your image in the gallery and move the brand to be alphabetically correct.
Once that is complete go to the a-c section . Select the </> icon to add in link.
You will need to add your brand url into this section. Find the brand before and after your new brand and add your url in between the two.
After this is complete save it and verify all your new link works and check 3 random brands to make sure everything is as it should be.
